Do you ever just sit by yourself in your room and listen to slow songs about love and life?
I find myself constantly doing that, especially when I'm listening to country music. Country music I think speaks to me the loudest and I listen. It hits close to home...I like to think of myself as a country girl, I could live in my boots, a pair of jeans, an old t-shirt and my camo baseball cap and I would be content with life. Riding 4-wheelers, riding in the truck with the windows down, sitting under the stars on a summer night and just drinking a beer with my closest friends. Sound cliche? Kind of, but that is the life I love to live.
Back to the country love songs and whatnot. Someday I hope to find that person who loves doing the same exact things as I do; like being with friends drinking a beer...or just sitting back and enjoying life. That image I have in my head is a country boy...of course, haha. I see him driving a huge truck, blaring a Johnny Cash song, having a dip in (kinda gross, but hey, I do not care), me sitting in the middle next to him and having a 30 pack of beer in the back of the truck. I don't know why but the song Kiss My Country Ass by Rhett Adkins comes to mind when I think of my "perfect" guy.
Yes I understand this is all cheesy but deep down I'm a cheesy kind of girl!
